Wait, my chart said 15 inches long but per Interstate it's 13- 15/16 inches long for a MTX-49/H8 so it's perfect. I guess I looked at a bogus online chart on Advance Auto Parts.
Sorry. Just checked again and it sure did say 15 long. I am not crazy.

Thanks. That’s exactly right for my 2017 HSE Si6 and I plan to buy that same battery.

After replacing the battery will you have to program the car so it knows the battery is new? I did NOT and my truck keeps saying battery is low please start the car and sometimes won’t even open the tailgate electrically…

Hm… maybe it’s connect to me having several chargers in the USB ports together with a fridge… whenever you open a door or the tailgate all ports will be active for a minute or so…

Just like the electric trunk release in my BMW, you want to be sure the trunk/tailgate does not close while the battery is removed or it will be a real hassle to get it open again.
A cautionary warning to anyone else planning to change their battery. It didn't happen to me. I'd suggest placing a blanket over the latch so it can't latch closed if you forget and try to close it.

Great thread. Swapped out factory battery in our 2019 TD SE after some issues. In our location went with Costco, and Energizer no less. Easy shipping, good price, 5 year warranty which at Costco means returnable, and 100 month prorate warranty refund. Where I was parked (winter mountain town) I did with trunk closed, no issues, just a big awkward & dark.

Everything came back as it should except for miles / imperial units
