Default Capability Package vs. Capability Plus Package

I am hoping someone can provide some clarity on these two options as the Land Rover website doesn't explain it very well.

Does the Capability Plus Package, not get air suspension or the two-speed transfer case?

On the website you can add both the Capability Package and the Capability Plus Package together. Is this possible or is this an error?

On the landroverusa website it shows that the capability package adds the 2 speed transfer case and air suspension. If you get the capability plus package without the capability package you won't be getting the 2 speed transfer case or air suspension.
Note that the 7 seat package also includes both the 2 speed transfer case and air suspension.
I have a 2017 HSE without either capability package or capability plus package but I do have the 7 seat comfort package and I do have the 2 speed transfer case and air suspension.

What D5 are you looking at and also what other options?
I found it hard to navigate the options till the model is nailed down, as some like the HSE Lux already comes with an air suspension and 2 spd transfer box.

Thanks for there responses.

This is for an HSE build.

So what is better to have? A locking rear diff? Or a two speed transfer case? And can you really get both the Capability and Capability Plus together?

I do like the idea of not having the air suspension and instead going with a custom set of Fox or King coilovers.

Why? 4 Corner Air is the bees knees on a vehicle like this. There are just as many reasons to like it on road as off.

Seems the big money is the transfer case and the air suspension, but you also get that with some other options (i.e. do you want/need 7 seats?)

I really like the air suspension on the D5, makes a nice luxury vehicle around town and capable off road (though still need to take it offroad). Also makes it easier to manage varying loads i.e. 7 passengers or lots of cargo vs none. In the past that has been a challenge with a midsize SUV to get a smooth ride with no load and ability to carry a lot of weight offroad without dragging butt.

I would definitely opt for the 2 spd transfer case and air suspension with terrain response first. You probably don't need the rear locker or ATPC if you don't plan to do very technical terrain. It seems to be an option to get both on the HSE. The HSE lux already has air suspension and transfer case, so the first option is not needed.

FYI the HSE 7 seat package is $2190, so $665 more than the Capability package and it gives you the Air suspension and Transfer case, so you only need the Capability plus package with it to get all the offroad goodies. Something to think about.

It is a pity the Surround Camera system is now only packaged with ACC, though ACC is pretty nice and pricey :-(

Adaptive Cruise Control is standard on HSE and HSE Lux. Surround cameras are packaged with the upgraded "ACC with steering assist".

It's a little strange to me... my '19 HSE Lux has lane keep assist, but because i don't have the surround camera package I don't have ACC with steering assist. Seems like it would be the same system that makes both lane keep and steering assist work.

Good to know, we ordered our '19 in August 2018 and the options seem to have changed since for '19 models. I'm not clear what the real difference is between lane keep assist and steering assist, but I do like the surround camera system as it comes in handy when parking in tight spots (also will be handy when going offroad).

Lane keep assist is a safety feature to warn you if you are drifting out of your lane. It can either buzz the steering wheel as a warning or can gently steer the car back into the lane if you drift over the line.

ACC with steering assist is a new feature to keep the car centered within the lane. So adaptive cruise keeps it a set distance from the car in front and steering assist keeps it in the middle of the lane
