Cargo hitch basket?

Do any of you know if you can run a cargo hitch mounted basket on he D5? Trying to find some options. We're headed out of town and are running of time for roof top options.

Sure, why not. Harbor Freight has inexpensive ones (made in China of course). Some assembly required.
Assumes you have a reciever (hitch) installed.

Basket hitch

I leave my hitch in. Protects the rear bumper when the garage attendant backs into a wall.

Find hitch cargo baskets and boxes on Amazon. All sizes and prices.

Since we are in an area that heavily salts the roads I got an aluminum one. It's light and easy to store up high if I need to. Handy for a lawn mower etc.
