Current LR4 owner. Thinking about buying a 2024 Discovery Dynamic SE (6 cyl)
Love the LR4 - still drives great but looking for a new daily driver (plan is to keep the LR4 for a while). Found a CPO 2024 with 4k miles at a compelling discount from original MSRP. So have about 38 mos remaining on the factory warranty plus another year for the CPO warranty.
I assume it was used as a dealer demo - anything to be concerned about beyond the typical stuff you have to deal with as Land Rover owners? For those who came from an LR4 - do you find the ride comfort to be on par with the LR4 (couldn’t possibly get more comfortable). Hard to gauge on a short test drive.

What engine is it? P300 I4 or P360 I6?
The P360 I6 is much better suited to the D5 than the I4, and that's coming from someone who has the P300 in my Defender, where that engine is better suited to the Defender than D5. It's buttery smooth, refined, powerful and decently efficient. Only big issue with the I6 (at least on the Defender) is the O-ring on the coolant pipe that feeds the turbocharger can start leaking.
If its a P300 and a good deal, then sure, why not? Unfortunate that the two-speed transfer case is only available on the I6, and they're hard to come by, and it is mandatory for any light-to moderate off-roading.
I had a 2011 LR4 and a 2017 D5 at the same time for five years, so plenty of side-by-side drives over the years. The D5 has a more compliant ride (on 20" & 21" wheels) and a quieter cabin than the LR4. Body control could be better, though.

If the price is good, I'd go for it!
