Default Disco V and AL mud

I am in Alabama and took the Disco hunting. First trip was actually in IL and drove hours through an early, out of the ordinary snow storm and it did fantastic, not one single slip or slide. Got back home to AL and was doing some scouting and putting up stands. It rained the night before and I didn't think it was a ton but as it turned out I seriously under estimated the rain amount. I was headed to check out some woods on the edge of a peanut field and the road was in good shape near the asphalt but I got into some low areas on the edges of the field and it went horribly wrong. The Disco sunk at least 8-12 inches in thick AL mud. The awesome part was she kept going. It WAS SLOW but moving forward and even with the stock doody Goodyear tires. She slung mud on both sides up to the roof front and rear but I didn't get stuck. I have had Rams, F150 and F250 and I know I would have gotten stuck with stock tires on those. Point being that even with the wrong treads the AWD system in these things is awesome and will get the job done.

Born and raised in AL, I can tell you this 8-12in you say you sunk in must have been potting soil because AL red clay is like super glue. Glad you made it through. Peanut field, Dothan?

oh and, ..
