Trying to get the word out to Discovery / LR MHEV owners.

If you’ve ever received the “Electrical warning – please stop safely” message or experienced unexplained electrical issues, please take a minute to report it to NHTSA. A number of these cases are being associated with DC/DC converter failures, and individual reports are how patterns actually get recognized.

Reporting is quick and helps make sure this doesn’t keep getting dismissed as isolated incidents.

Even if it happened once, cleared on its own, or was already repaired.

 

Thanks for flagging. Currently waiting on a backordered DC to DC convert that failed while driving at 29k miles. Car is immobile until replaced.

Will file a report.

 

Anyone else waiting in a DC-DC Converter out there? Both dealer and JLRNA have said no ETA on the part.
