Default Easy entry / exit menu

Has anyone else noticed that the driver seat easy entry/exit option is gone from the instrument panel menu? I used to have it, and the seat does it, but that menu item no longer exists.

Not sure why the manual says that, the only menu item that remotely looks like that on mine is the rear access one that slightly reclines the rears when the rear door is opened and raises the seat back if it's been previously folded.

For the function you're looking for, the on/off is controlled by rotating the round steering wheel adjustment **** left/right.

Why does this feature wait until you open the door before moving backward for the easy exit function?
At this point it too late, as I've already exited the vehicle.
My previous GX460 started the easy exit as soon as the ignition was turned off...far more useful.

I assume for the situation where you turn the vehicle off but not ready to exit (finishing a call on Bluetooth).

Interestingly the function does not re-engage (move seat forward and wheel down) until the ignition is turned on.

As it should be...both ways should be driven by the ignition.

I am my own knucklehead.

Bought my Disco back in March 2020 just as the shut downs were starting and was not able tp receive any tech instructions. I have learned by doing, reading in the manual/forums and watching YouTube videos.

I say all that because this is the first time in two years I finally know how to turn that function on. 🤦

I followed the instructions in the manual... they did not work so I figured i did not have that option and and gave up.

Thank you for the post!!!

Just purchased a 2023 SE LWB & it has memory seats, etc ... However, I'm not sure if this has this easy/exit feature? The button on the right of the steering is set to Auto.

Somebody suggested I disable it, lock & unlock the car and put it to Auto. Tried. No love. Checking the build sheet, the Convenience Package is not there. Is that required?

Any other suggestions?

TIA
Magesh
