Almost to Denver from Syracuse ny gone 1,500 miles. Filled def before I left and car is freaking out now about refilling in 1000 miles. So annoying.

2” lift on 4 ply 33” tires with a ****ty front runner rack, ****ty wind faring, quad fly rod holder, jack, boards and snowboard box on the roof and I’m averaging 18.5mpg actual at 78 mph. More like 21 mpg at 73. Best fuel economy seems to be 70 mph.

with tires and lift and no **** on the roof I get 26mpg.

my sisters identical stock disco gets 30-31 at 71 mph and mich defender tires set to normal pressure

 

GF lost her fucjing mind that I wanted to tow my winter turbo to Utah, so we didn’t, but also I was having trouble with the trailer and a curt echo brake controller not fully releasing and I didn’t have time to sort it out.

Carriage bolts and bike locks instead of paying ONE HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS per EACH front runner rack.

I got those same tires but 275 55 20 and I'm getting terrible fuel economy but love these tires offroad only bought them because you recommended they are amazing nonetheless ready to install my 2 inch lift now

 

Haha really? How bad is it? Mine still averages 22 mpg in a tank and 25 or 26 highway with them 275/60r20s.

it just gets crushed above 71 mph and if stuff is on the roof.

 

Its not that bad im averaging about 23-24 mpg on a tank when I used to average 29 mpg on a tank which wasn't good anyway but better than my 3rd gen 4runner which gets around 13mpg love the tires in mud though ready to install the lift when I'm doing a tire rotation.

 

Nice, yeah that makes sense. Don’t forget you have to add 5% to your MPG because your odometer is under reporting the mileage by about 5%

 

Dude the tires are so good. I just crushed Hells Revenge with them. Really impressed for a 4ply street AT. Aired down to 18/20 front and rear but I think 25 rear would have been better.

 

I knew those tires had potential its a rugged terrain so meant for road and offroad use more than a at and yea about the mpg bump I should calculate that. In Canada these tires are amazing through mud been pulling people out.
