Default Grunt noise from Dash/Steering Column

Hi All! New to the board but not forums, I swear I've searched this before making a new thread! I have a new to me 2017 Disco and I hear this odd Grunting, best I can explain, when first pushing the brake pedal. Not very loud, only lasts a second, no grinding, brakes work great, just the sound. Is there a separate pump to the MC that charges pressure so it's always optimal? (reaching for anything here)

I found this thread that seems to be kind of like my issue but worse. That's the worry is I'm hoping if it's an issue to catch it before it's a real problem!

Thanks a bunch for helping the Newb!

Is it possible that’s where the air pump or a tank is? Behind steering column area on the engine side of the firewall? Had a thought it was just maintaining pressure and that’s the sound I hear.
