Heated seats not very hot 2019 DISCO
So my new 2019 has a piping hot steering wheel but the seat-I can almost barely tell if it’s warm. I have a LR loaner (disco sport) and the seats are superrrr hot. What gives? Anyone know if there is a setting or another reason mine are luke warm at best?
I also feel like I can barely feel hot air come out down by my feet. It’s been cold in NY!
thx in advance!

The only setting is to turn the dial all the way to the right, I think I they are 3 stage heated. The steering wheel is a bit over eager yes...
Have you tried comparing the driver and passenger seat using the same settings? If one is significantly hotter than the other it suggests a fault in the seat heater.

If it helps....we just traded in our Disco Sport for a Disco. We got to spend a week with the shop Velar while said Disco was in the shop. The Disco Sport seat warmers could could cook steak on high, the Disco warm but not super hot. The Velar somewhere in the middle. @LoneStarLR is abosolutey right, compare driver to passenger. And I hope you're "looking" after the loaner!
I actually asked my husband how hot his seat got bc I haven’t sat in it yet. He said not burning hot like the sport I’m driving. Just warm.
In other news-Just found out my brand new disco needs a new windshield. Everything I read online came true in two short weeks. Plus the check engine for on oxygen sensor had been on since I drove off the lot. This is my third discovery and Im starting to wonder if I have a mental problem still buying them?!?

Oh boy. I can relate. It's an affliction. We had no issues with out LR3 nor Disco Sport. In between there was a Toyota Sequoia we put 200,000 very had KM on. This guy: Drove it off the lot with a key fob missing, 2400 "extra" KMs on the speedo, sudden power loss, right rear slow leak, no SIM, and it hadn't been detailed.
Ugh! That’s no good! The things we do for love. We have an old LR3 still kicking. Had to replace the suspension air compressor twice but the car has been a solid beast. We love it. Thinking of getting rid of it though bc we don’t really need it. 😢
I just bought a 2019 Disco and have noticed a slow and low temp to seats in hottest setting. Is this a common complaint, or is it possibly not working properly? I saw on another thread that some rovers have seats that are heated and cooled by engine heat rather than electrical coils? Anyone know if this is the case for 2019 Discovery?
