Default Infotainment release Version 18D

Hi Everybody,
just scheduled my first service for my new Disco V and learned that updating the infotainment software to 18D will take 2.5 hours.

So, I tried to find release notes and understand all the changes that come with the software update.

https://www.ovalnews.com/2018/12/inc...ase-notes.html

That's a lot of improvements.

Thanks for posting the change log - very helpful. The CarPlay fixes alone may be worth bringing ours in for the update...

Is there a way to tell which OS is currently installed?

You should find under all settings under Software update.

Is this update included at no charge under the factory warranty?

I would think so. I’m getting my first service done and requested the Upgrade specifically.

Thanks, please report back after your service to confirm it was free under warranty and your success with it.

The dealer performed the upgrade this morning. Was covered under warranty.

No issues after the upgrade, seems to respond faster.
