I don't think your version # will update until you shutdown and it installs. What it's showing now is the current version with a pending install.

Strangely I'm still on S19A on my 2018 model in USA. It said there was an update when I did the check for updates a few weeks ago 20B or C I think) so I clicked on download/install and it seemed to be going but hasn't updated. And now when I check for updates it claims I'm up to date on 19A
Any idea why?

A couple days ago my dash prompted me that an update was available. I'd never been prompted before.
I selected Install Now, and forgot about it. Later I checked for updates and it said Last Update sometime last November and No Updates Available.
Today I checked for updates and it said there was an update available. Hours later and it's still downloading the update. I think it's just one guy on an old flip phone sending out the update keystroke by keystroke.

There was a time on the early software versions where LR service had to enable SOTA updates.

surprised if that would still be the case on a 2020.

yeah, you have to have your dealer go into Topix to make sure the updates are enabled for your VIN.
