Looking great Gmfain!

We found a little Trail off of the Ocoee River at Ocoee Station 3 yesterday. Once the trail got muddy enough for us to slide around, we turned around. Didn't want to get stuck by ourselves with the 5 month old and 3 other kids in the truck! Once again, the kids fell asleep on the descent of a rocky trail 😂

That is the same trail we went on the end of the 2024 ride. Sweet!

I should have put that together! Maybe that's why I randomly decided to go back there. It was stuck somewhere deep down in my head. Does it get pretty gnarly past the power lines? I had zero desire to get stuck with four kids in the car.

Not too bad. You would have been golden in the D5.

Refined lines, sporty, rugged, and I no longer think it needs to look like it could cross Africa like the LR3 did. The kiddos love sitting on the tailgate 👌

I upgraded from 2005 LR3 to 2017 First Edition in Nov (Had a 2018 HSE LUX for 3 weeks and then got total loss as someone decided to jumped Stop sign).

Find these quieter than LR3, but have to really test how V6 sumps upto the V8...

Nice views there....

We followed the same pattern: '05 LR3 to a 2017 D5 just a year ago. So far we're very pleased.
We took a trip over New Year's and rented a little Airstream trailer. The D5 hardly knew the trailer was there. Here's a photo from a dispersed site near Safford, AZ.
