Default Map Update

Just a heads up that the most recent map version is 08.030.0090.0153.

Last update I did was February (08.030.0079.0155), but I think they're released quarterly.

I just went through the download procedure a couple of days ago. It looks like that we are having free updates for 4 years.

Same. It took me forever to find the place to download the maps (I now have it bookmarked and I pasted the link below). I could not see any difference in the interface or maps after the update.

Ha, took me a while to find it too...

LR#3, the updates are free during our warranty period.

Map updates are done with a USB stick - downloaded at the link I provided above.

Thanks for the info. I can register an account on that site and it recognizes the VIN, but for some reason I can't add the vehicle on the site. Wonder if I need to sign in on the Nav system first??
Not sure if it is already done on the D5 Nav, as I haven't done it but the dealer may have.

Hi Andries,
I had the same issue. You need to login into your newly created account from you car which adds the car to the account. Hope that helps.

Thanks.
Just did, but still didn't show up. Wonder if there is a lag once you log in from the D5. Will try a bit later today or this week again.

Update: Nevermind it is working now. It seem to take a while after you log into the Nav to show up on the website. Hope the real time destinations/routes are bit more speedy
