Default New D5 with Toyo Open Country All Terrain III tires

The Eagle has landed! Picked up my Disco yesterday that I ordered in December and was made in early March before they shut down the plant in Nitra. Love the truck but there is annoying squeak coming from something in interior.

First thing this morning, I was first in line at D/T and put Toyo Open Country All Terrain 3's on it this morning. With the new Open Country A/T 3's from Toyo, they are available in the same OE size, 255/55/20, and I figured was the extra 0.0" diameter with the 275/55/20's (31.9" vs 31.0") really worth the speedometer error? It's a new tire that just came out and has great specs. I have the original Pirelli Scorpion Zeros that came on it available if somebody is interested.

Great!! Hope you enjoy the new D5!!

Will be interested in your impressions of the Toyos, looks like a good option. The AT2s didn’t quite make the cut for due to snow/ice traction concerns, but that seems to be solved with the 3s.

You probably don’t have a reference to road noise for these.

I liked the specs of the Toyo's and loved that I could get OE size. Was otherwise considering Falkens. Tires ride and handle great, and I can't tell that they are any louder than the OE Pirellis. Have a squeak coming from somewhere in the cabin it sounds, but can't trace it down yet. Hear that more than anything coming vroom the tires.

squeak is probably from the back seat. Seems to be a recurring problem

I vaguely remember reading something about that awhile back, too. Particularly when both seats are extended all the way back.

Love the tires, btw.

Love the tire tread.

Agree, looks bada$$!

Still liking our Yoko G051s but have learned they do not spin clay mud out very well. Otherwise they work well and ride great.
