Default New tyres

Any recommendations for replacement all seasons for street use on the Disco? The Goodyear Eagle F1 that came with it have been terrible, scalloped and causing noisy driving with vibrations. I have the 20inch.

Looking at the Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season Plus II and the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4.

Wdyt?

Hard to go wrong with either. I was happy with the last gen Verdes on my Pepper. We had Verdes on our Disco when we got it but live out in the sticks now so had them swapped for Yoko Geolanders G051s, a mellow ATR tire. Love them so far. I have noticed the Verdes are clear up to 740AA now. Be anxious to see if they really last that long? Michelins being 540s and their rep to not last as long as their rating plus adding in the premium price? Between these two, mostly highway driving, I'd probably go Verdes. YMMV . . .

Thanks. That's what I'm leaning towards too. I had the Pirelli scorpion on the LR4 for many years and they were terrific.

Yoko G015's run very quiet and smooth, have a good mileage warranty and the snowflake symbol.
But I really can't see mine making it to even 40 K miles. I drive very gently on them too.
I like them but when I warranty replace them I plan to apply the credit to another brand.

I have a separate set of winter tires as the Goodyear Eagle were so poor in the snow. And I only got about 25k miles from the Goodyear in total...

Our SUV tires never make 40K. But, I don't run them below about 4/32 out here in the sticks especially on the wife's primary driver. Just peace of mind.

I’m running the Pirelli Scorpion Verde on 22. No complaints.

I also had them on an old Volvo XC90, always performed well, but never got 40k from them.

Much better all around than the Goodyears...they were horrible. Couldn't get them to balance...road force was in the 20s. I took them off with 20K on them. Replaced with Yoko's and couldn't be happier!

Went with the Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season Plus II. Good price on Amazon. Only a few hundred miles so far, but much improved and the highway noise from the poorly worn Goodyears has gone now.
