No auxillary battery on the Discovery 5, correct?
been having issues with getting the low battery warning and software not updating. Measured the main battery when sitting overnight and it's close to 12.0v, which seems low. so, I had it replaced.
am I correct that there is no auxiliary battery in the D5, like some of the other JLR vehicles?

While there is no secondary battery like what was seen in the Discovery 4/ LR4 to support the start/stop function there are smaller batteries to support other things. The telematrics unit located by the left side C pillar has 2 AA sized batteries to power the unit when the vehicle is off and there is another until like this within the dash as well.

I hope those are rechargeable batteries....
This sounds like a "let's design it so they will go to the dealer for a very quick, low cost repair the dealer can charge an absurd amount for" design.
