It would be very nutty.
I bought my 2022 when there were only a few (as in 5) HSE’s left in LA County. I had really been wanting to get one in Fuji White, but there weee none to be found that weren’t missing options I wanted. I ended up going to a dealer an hour away that had one in Hakuba Silver just to test drive and make sure I even wanted to buy a Discovery. I liked it so much I bought it the next day.

60 days in, I couldn’t be happier with the car and how it looks. Maybe it’s just psychology but I’m convinced I wouldn’t have liked the white as much as the silver I got.

What I’m trying to say is that the color might not be as important to you later as you think it is now but as always, YMMV.

One other thing also re color—I really thought I wanted the black/white two-tone leather b/c of how it looked in the pictures, but ended up with the black w/ white piping instead. I know the two-tone would have been a disaster wear-wise, esp with a toddler. I also think I would have gotten tired of it after the initial novelty of the striking contrast wore off.

Hope there is something useful in here for you! Good luck, sir!

Wonder if it would be cheaper to do a vinyl wrap to the color I want or...

But the color I want with the interior seats I don't want and have those swapped.

I have been able to find the Eiger grey but with the 2 tone oyster seats. I have a newborn and use it heavy for business, that tan would get wrecked.
