Default P20ee

Attention hive mind: has anyone had any experience with the P20EE code on their Disco5 diesel? I did a look up and saw a number of things which could trigger a NOx out of spec alarm but was wondering if there was something common to this particular vehicle?

Many thanks!

Cheers! I'll keep you posted. I cleared the alarm in the hope that it was a spurious out of spec. So far, so good. I do have a warranty so if it pops up again it's going in.

Update on this. Code cleared and never returned. However: yesterday, 300 miles from home a warning message popped up "no restarts after 250 miles, incorrect DEF quality". At that time I was 300 miles from home!

I drove the vehicle to my mechanic and left it there overnight - quite a stressful drive, making sure the auto stop/start was off and I didn't accidentally turn off the vehicle once I was in the red warning of zero miles left. One thing I did do - when I got the alarm I pulled over and removed the DEF injector from the exhaust pipe, and thoroughly cleaned it off, and the exhaust pipe hole. This did not clear the alarm.

I'll keep you posted.

Update 2: I've been told DPF scrub and drain and refill of the DEF tank is necessary.

do you have a local Land Rover mechanic to diagnose it? not dealer.

Not really - I have one but it was risky dropping it off there at night in that area, so this time because of my warranty I dropped it at the dealer.

I've read that the "incorrect DEF Quality detected" warning can be triggered by a failed DEF pump.
