Default Rock slide Running Boards

I want the rock slide tubes and my wife wants the boards for her high heels. What is the compromise?

It might be worth a call to Lucky 8 about their rock slider inserts. I know when I talked to them last they were looking at making this available for the D5 sliders as well. Not certain as to where that stands now.

Thanks, I like those! Sean at Lucky 8 said they did not have anything like that for the D5. I've ordered a set of the sidesteps DISCOVERY 5 SIDESTEPS – Lucky8 Off Road (lucky8llc.com) and they should be here next week.

Well that stinks. I like those as well and was hoping they would offer them after our conversation last year. I should be seeing Eric and Justin here at SCARR next month so I will see if they have any future plans for these. It seems like all development for the D5 has dropped and now they are working only on the new Defender.

You will be happy with those sliders you ordered. Pretty strong and they have held up will for me so far.

Awesome build! I'm glad you said you eliminated the debris shield. My sliders aren't here yet and I was debating reinstalling the debris shield. Do the sliders cover up where the debris shields were? Never mind, I see you already answered that in your post.
