Wondering if anyone can help me out with some “dealer speak” -

there’s a car im interested that’s CPO at a dealer, who also sold it originally and looks to have done all the servicing based on CarFax. I asked if they could provide the service history details to me, and they said sure - but all they sent was the checks they did before CPO’ing it. Is there a terminology for a complete service history of the vehicle, from its original sale?

 

Just that - full service history. They apparently often don't want to give this out for privacy reasons. But the last dealer I bought from gave me a printout of all the services. So it just depends on the dealer. Call them and ask nicely!

Btw - I think any dealer can do it if you are close to another one?
