The old battery was still measuring 4.0v.

I have just bought this one but it is about as close as I could find after looking for an hour. I'll attach it all together and let you know if it works.

EDIT: got a call from a buddy in Dallas who works at a LR shop there. He received 2 calls today about 17 D5s with the same issue. looks like a 5 year life span on the batteries for sure.

 

I ordered them using your link. After a few days of silence, I called and they did not have them in stock.

So stuck again, and hope for a refund.

Any other ideas?
