Transmission fluid change
I was checking for the transmission pan and filter on FCP euro and when I checked it’s showing land rovers and bmws have the same one is this right? Link below

I believe the pan would fit. Both vehicles have the ZF transmission. I'd email or call FC Euro just to be sure but I would be comfortable using this item on my D5.
That's a great price. The fluid will be a lot more though. I plan to do the service myself later this summer or next fall when I reach 60K miles. I have already set myself up to be able to read the transmission fluid temperature via OBDII. I believe I posted the steps to do that already.

I think they'd just like to sell you a new Land Rover. I've heard not to flush a vehicle with lots of miles that's never been serviced. I would think ZF knows more about their transmissions than Land Rover does. I'd go by ZF's recommendation. I did have this service performed (pan, filter, fluid) on my BMW with ZF transmission at 60K miles (a 7 speed ZF, not the 8 speed in the LR). Now at 83K and it's still shifting perfectly.
