Default Upgrades for overlanding?

Anyone know of a supplier that sells mods and upgrades? Now that I’m out of warranty and it’s paid off it’s either I start doing something with it or sell it and get my Grenadier.

Lucky 8 is your best bet here in the US. Are you in the Houston or San Antonio area? It might be worth joining us over at Texas Rovers if you have not as they give club members discounts.

Texas based land rover club that has chapters in Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston. We meet once a month in each location and then have events several times a year. We just had our SCARR outing back in the first part of April that is the largest LR meet in the central US. www.texasrovers.org

There's some good stuff on there. I like the lift kits. What size do you need to lift to put real tires on there? Also things I want.

Items I'd like to get.

1) A pillar brush guard
2) Is there a replacement rear end? My plastic is scuffed already and frankly a machine like this doesn't need a plastic bumper
3) what is the cap that goes on the 7wire trailer hitch adapter? my plastic one broke off.

People with LRs that do overlanding and other trips. We had a group go up to Colorado last year for a trip like that. A bit hard to do here in Texas since it is all private land but we do trips out to Barnwell Mountain and Hidden Falls off road parks. I am doing a trip down to Mustang Island and then down to Big Shell which will be all beach driving.

Nothing for the rear except for a French company that was making a under bumper skid pate. I have not seen anyone yet import that over here to the US. "A pillar brush guard"? you mean just the A bar? Lucky 8 makes a A bar for the D5.I have one and gmfain run one as well. I also run a PR 2.0 lift from LKY8 with 275/55 R20 Toyo AT3 on it them. Very happy with them on the trails as well as driving along the beach so far. I run them as well on my LR4. Now as for the cap I have not seen that sold by itself. You might need to pick something up off of EBay as a replacement. I am sure that LR will sell you the entire kit. (BTW do have discounts at several LR dealerships in the state, Boerne, Austin North, Dallas, Grapevine, Houston North, and I hope to add LR Clear Lake to the member discounts here soon. )
Here are a few things I have done to mine so far.

DonC, did you use two separate light bars in your Front runner?

Also, did you do the install on the A-bar/winch plate yourself?
