Water Leak? No way!
Hey everyone! New to the forum but not to Rovers in general. Picked up an L462 off the original owner for my wife. Love the truck, runs great. It rained the other day, and wouldn't you know it, carpet is wet. My driveway is at a steep slope so the water coming in from the front (I believe) migrated to the rear carpets as well. I read a bunch and found that it is probably the windshield. Used some tape to seal it really quick until I could get to figuring out a permanent fix.
So, I have no other symptoms other than wet carpet. No water running down a pillar as I pulled them off to look. No water by the overhead console. No water by B pillars. Nothing that would indicate sunroof drains or anything like that. I am familiar with that due to my L405 having the sunroof drain issue and I fixed that. My question is, what are some other ideas of what to check here? I pulled the driver carpet up and the floor/carpet and everything is soaked. I can see what looked like some remnants of where water may have traveled through, but I can't see for sure. Does anyone have any idea where the grommets or seals are located on the firewall for where the harness runs through or anything like that? It seems like that would be my issue. Any ideas would be really helpful of where to start looking. Thanks everyone! Have a great holiday.

Have you sprayed a garden hose on the windshield? My windshield was easy to identify that it leaked just by doing that. I also tried pouring water from a picture directly into the sunroof and it drained out successfully. After that, a glass shop guy showed me that he could lift the glass off the frame with an easy press of his hand from the inside.
