Gotta be a door seal. I notice a bit of a gap where the door meets the body and an area near the mirror that might be the problem.

I think it’s the door seal as well. Today after driving on the highway in the rain I noticed a couple drips of water between the outer and inner door seals. That’s where the noise seems to be coming from. I put a small piece of rubber underneath the seal to push it out a bit. We’ll see if it help, gotta drive to work on the highway again tomorrow.

Well, that didn’t help. Maybe made it worse. Guess I’ll have to bite the bullet and go to the dealer

Sorry for the tardy update, but the problem seems to have gone away. Now that’s it’s warmed up, the noise is gone. I wonder if the cold weather caused the various door components to change shape slightly, affecting the door alignment and seal.

Well...Good News...Bad news...
I had mine in AGAIN for the 19A update...When they installed it last week it knocked out my remote functions..
Why can't they be normal and have the remote start on the key FOB like 99% of the others do?
Anyways...they gave me a D-5 2018 loaner...Same noise on the pass side. They road tested again and said....Vehicle operating as designed.
They my have wore me down on this...I'm just going to leave the radio on.

***********Update*************

I'm pretty sure the wind noise is coming from the front of the sunroof, when I put my hand up there it seems to change pitch. I just can't figure out where just yet.

In the past I have used blue painters tape to track down poor wind seals. I have used it on windshield, sunroofs and passenger doors/windows. Tape up the area you suspect on the seal lines with the blue tape. Test drive and see if the noise is still there, if so you can remove the tape easily and check another area. Some seal lines can be harder to properly cover with tape, but it is still possible.

I complained to the writer about noise coming from the sunroof the last time I had the d5 in and they did some sort of adjustment on the sunroof which seems to have fixed the wind noise I was hearing. It always made me think one of the back doors wasn't fully shut.

Has anyone else had this issue? I am living with it...but I taped the sunroof all around except the very back and the noise is still there..
I also have at times a whistling noise seeming to come from the heating/cooling system, dealer said it may be a vent door not closing all the way or a leaf stuck inside.
Going in again end of Jan.
