'03 Discovery SE
Greetings, folks.
Jeff in TX, here. I just landed a beautiful Land Rover Discovery SE. It has 135,000 miles, and, a few concerns in regard to the engine, but I don't think that it is anything major. Otherwise, I cannot believe how comfortable and spacious this vehicle is - it is really a treat to drive this vehicle. Other than my first vehicle as a sophomore in high school, a Chevrolet Tahoe Blazer, this is my first SUV in my adult life - I never would have thought that I would own - or even - drive a Land Rover.
I have always found them to be interesting and very unique and distinctive; I just never had the urge - or the MONEY
- to acquire one. Well, I am glad to have this one...I still cannot believe how much fun it is to drive it.
At any rate, I am glad to be a member here. I hope that you guys - and gals - can help me restore this thing, and I have plans to fix the mechanical issues immediately, and see if I can get another 135,000 miles out of it for my enjoyment!
Thanks for reading, glad to be a member of this fraternity, and I will move on over to the mechanical section of the forum to see if you guys can refer me to someone in Dallas, TX who can assist me with fixing the issues that jump right out at me as of the urgent.
Thanks!
