Default 2008 LR3 SE owner checking in

Hello all,

Just took ownership of a 2008 LR3 a couple of months back with 29000 miles on the clock. Lovely vehicle to drive, but after 4000 miles on the road, a shopping list of problems, so back to the dealer for warranty repairs!

But that's what a warranty is for, so my wife and I have taken a deep breath and we'll see what comes! Frustrating issues for a car supposedly designed for all climates, and disappointing for a luxury vehicle.

Just for interest, the list:
1. Complete dash cover replacement (cracked twice after a cold week!)
2. Headliner replacement (collapsing)
3. "A" pillar covers replacement (material unglued)
4. Steering wheel cover/airbag replacement (peeling up)
5. Alignment and bushing replacement (even after a 150 point certified check etc just 4000 miles back)
6. Dash trim coming away on left side of steering wheel - replacement
7. Compressor slow (needs replacement relay)
8. Sunblind sticking - repair
9. Armrest and glovebox chrome latches peeling - replacement
10. Misc power outlet and loudspeaker issues - replacement
11. Valve stem/TPMS blowout - replacement
12. Lug nut wrench/jack handle snapped (when installing spare for the above!) - replaced
13. Electric parking brake failed (bizarrely not covered and ~$900, so not happy!)
14. Door armrests collapsing (and bizarrely also not apparently covered)

Discussions continue on the last two!

Cheers,

Tim
