Air Resource Board Certification
Hello everyone,
I am new to the forum. I have been a long time Land Rover Defender fan and 2 years ago I bought a grey market 1991 D90 200TDI from a dealer in Miami and shipped it to California. I was able to register the vehicle and had no problems for 2 years. Now I get a letter from the California Air Resources Board telling me that I will no longer be able to register my vehicle unless I complete a recertification that is estimated to cost $10,000.00. Anyone else have this issue and any advise? I really don't want to sell my D90 but do not have the money to complete the certification.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
bequiabouy
