Hi, i am new to this. My girlfriend and I bought a 1986 110 v8 3.5 landrover for a trip to africa. reading some books they suggest i bring along a new alternator and also that if im running high energy equipment to also use a 65 amp lucas. i was wondering can we just put any alternator in, say a 100amp one? and which ones would you recommend and how would we fit those?
