Thanks for approval.
Mine is a Discovery 2 TD5 2004 facelift model. New battery fitted 3 months ago. Easy start every day.
5 days ago, sluggish start
Next day had to jump start, started easy. Started fine for two days/4 starts,am.,pm.
Next day, having driven approx 60 daylight miles previous day, wouldn't turnover at all.
Easy start on jump.
With engine running only getting a reading of 12.56V
Do I need to replace alternator or is there anything else I should be looking at?
Thanks.

Have you made sure your battery terminals are tight? If so then I would definitely *suspect* the alt. Good luck.
