Hi all, I've been lurking for about a year now as I've answered most of my questions through the search feature. I bought a 99 disco 2 about a year ago for $900, and recently traded a minivan for a 96 Disco1. The D2 is down right now awaiting a front drive shaft. The D2 is down right now (as of today) because of an engine fire.... I let the valve cover gasket leaks go a little longer than I should have without cleaning the oil off.

Glad to be part of the community and just like to say I feel lucky to have a resource such as this to help with problems such as these. I'd just like to say thanks for all those who have contributed write ups and have helped others with their questions so that I may benefit from the accumulated knowledge.
