Hello,
I'm purchasing a 2004 Discovery II. I'm planning on rescuing it from a mechanic's "impound yard". The short version of the story is that a dude overheated his Disco three times so the engine is toast and stuck the mechanic for the bill on the final go-around, so I'm going to pay the mechanic for the parts and the car is mine (~$500). Here is a brief description with a bit more details (with pictures):
2004 Land Rover Discovery, should I try to rescue from a mechanic : projectcar
So, I'm just posting to say hi and ask, what should I look out for? I've been watching Atlantic British's videos, downloading the RAVE manuals and trying to read up on it a bit.
