Motor has shifted due to bad mounts it’s moved forwards about an inch same with transmission. How do I get the motor and transmission back to original place to put new mounts back in. Having serious trouble. Used boom from tow truck to lift motor but not budging. Is there something I need to do to get motor and tranny back to it’s rightful place?

 

I'd put jacks under the engine and trans and undo all the mounts to massage it back to where it belongs. You could have driveshafts binding and causing it to be locked in position so you may have to undo those as well.
