Craig from Canada
Been watching here for a while and figured it was time to join . Considering a LR3 for a fun vehicle. Love how they look . Have a F350 I use for work and hauling , camping. Wife has a RX350. F350 is great for what I use it for, but really isn't fun to drive. Wife's Lexus is a great car.
Considered a.land cruiser for a long time, but the ones that come up here seem to be rusty as heck, or over 450,000 km. Pricey too. FJ40 would be neat, but it doesn't look ideal for driving any kind of a distance. The LR3 looks great, just a bit daunting with some of the things that can go wrong.
LR3 in Canada seems to be available for much more reasonable prices than land cruisers with double or more.km.
Will keep reading and learning here.
Thanks!
Craig

Welcome to another Canuck. I’m pretty familiar with the Disco 2 and P38, not the LR3, but I think you’ll like it way more than a Toyota. That said, you should probably be prepared to do most of the work on it yourself as there are very few mechanics here who are familiar enough with them. Good luck.
