Hello Bought a 2004 Discovery I plan on fixing it up and selling it unless I like it more than I thought. So hopefully I can pick some brains and get this project completed.

Keep us updated. It'll be nice to know how you do with your flip. I hope you know what you got into; these things can eat your wallet and keep you from even breaking even unless you get lucky or know what your truck needs and what you think you can get out of it. If you keep it, welcome to the sickness.

I am also interested in where this goes. I bought mine on a lark because I know the original owner and remember when she bought it in 04, as well as how meticulous she was about service all these years. When I rode past and saw a For Sale sign taped to the windshield for what I assumed was a ridiculously low ask, being a car guy I decided to take the plunge. So far it has worked out pretty well all things considered, however I can't believe how much I like this truck. I'm not sure I would feel the same way about a project truck but I will drive this one until the end and wouldn't think of selling it, despite the "challenges" that come with owning a 14 year old truck that was designed to last 10.
