Default Finally got my Landy - 05 LR3

Hello from Central WA,

So after a lifetime of dreaming of owning a Land Rover I just bought an 05 LR3 on a whim.

It's got 156K miles on it and is in immaculate condition (garaged suburban kid hauler; looks like it was never taken off-road). I was a little hesitant purchasing the first model year of the LR3's, but the previous owners have a ton of maintenance records...and well the price was right. My main question is what major maintenance I should get taken care off right away to ensure my rig lasts a long time? The following big repairs have already been done:

-Control arms & bushings (76K)
-Fuel treatment (80K)
-Transmission fluid (105K)
-Brakes (115K)

Thinking I need to take care of the transfer case & diff fluids right away, but what other suggestions would you have?

Thanks Very Much!
Neal

Congrats on the LR3. I would look at replacing the plastic coolant bleeder t located by the throttle body. They get brittle overttim and shatter dumping all your coolant

Nice. Looks like there is an Lr4 grille on there. Aftermarket piece. Makes it look like an lr4.

Just south of Cle Elum. Bought the LR3 to use on the farm and be a weekend adventure rig.

Cheers!
