Hello from Western Nevada!
I've always had an admiration for Defenders, but was always under the impression that anything with a green oval on it was a rolling disaster. After doing some actual research I realized tha wasn't true and that someday I'd really love to own a Defender pickup.
This is not that day, because I'm a broke ski coach, but I did find a Disco/LR3 that was in great shape mechanically with only a few gremlins to sort out for a price I couldn't say no to. Needs a new suspension compressor, lower control arms, and an AC compressor at the moment.
So far she's taken me pretty deep into remote mountain ranges in NV, gotten me through a four foot snow storm and halfway across the US and I've only had to get pulled out of a spot once.
