As I went out car shopping with my wife yesturday for a new Jeep Wrangler.I have always wanted a Jeep Wrangler for years and decided that this was the year I would get a new one.As we passed a car dealer ship my wife said ' hey there is a Land Rover over there for sale and you always wanted one of them." I thought there was no way I could ever afford one but we stopped and to make a long story short I now own a 2001 Disco and now I am happy I didn't find the Jeep I always wanted.I am a very happy guy.

I've owned 3 Jeep Cherokee's and I have to admit they are great vehicles.In all my years of ownership I have not got a negative thing to say about them.Like yourself,I've always wanted a Land Rover but could never afford one. I also now own a 01' Discovery,and my only regret is that I didn't purchase one sooner. I love it and look forward to driving it every morning. I now take the long way to and from work just to milk a few extra minutes behind the wheel.

 

congrats duder. sort of the same thing for me. but i was more in the market for a 4x4 4runner or Tacoma.
