Default Greetings from Charleston

Hi all,

I am not new to forums but I am brand new to Land Rovers.I am about
to dive in to 2003 Discovery with 170,000 miles.I love projects and after doing much research it sounds like this will definitely be one. This place is wealth of knowledge and I look forward to getting to know this community.

Make sure to take a look at my major service list posted at the top of the D2 section, especially for the front drive shaft rebuild/replacement.

Hey, thanks for the tip.I really enjoy working on engines so this might be a perfect fit!
My other past time is mechanical watches but the parts are so small it can be a nightmare at times.I will post some pics and start on that list when I pic her up hopefully this week.

Well,
Still searching for the right one.So far I have looked at four and they were all in pretty sorry shape. How do people do that to vehicles is beyond me.

Well, I am now the proud owner of a 96 Discovery with 130,000 miles.Engine sounds and drives well.It passed a Block test so the hg's are good. It has a few cosmetic issues but I can't wait to start restoring her back to tip top shape.I will now let the questions begin!
Thanks for helping me make the right choice(or career change with all I will be learning.)
