Default Greetings from Chicago

Hello all! Two months ago the wife and i decided to sell our 06 Range RoverSport and buy an 04 Disco. I never had a reason to join a forum with the RRS,but I have so many questions about the Disco that I had to find a good resourcefor answers.

It’s been 20 years since I did any off-roading, but I’m ready to startagain. Finding places to go and peopleto go with in the Chicago area has been a challenge. Same with parts and independent shops. I’m looking forward to joining the Cult ofthe Disco!

Thanks! I've owned a numbers of 4x4s over the years, including a Jeep, Nissan pickup, and a 4runner. Even "owned" and Humvee in the Army that I drove all over Oahu.

There's also an event planned for May 17-19 at Badlands. Hopefully it will be a big turn out of Midwestern Rover owners.

Hope to see you at a meeting!

I'm in Lake Forest, and went to college near Attica. I'll check out the club site and see if I can get the Disco ready for a trip by May.

Cool. What are your plans for the truck? We usually have a few work days every year where everybody gets together and knocks out some projects. Many lifts have been installed this way. I'm probably going to host a work day near the end of April to wrap up my projects. Let me know if you have any questions.
