Hello from a Texas transplant in Chicago and brand new LR owner. Joined the forum several weeks ago as I was researching the desire to purchase a Land Rover. Found what my wife and I were looking for and after full inspection by mechanic, we drove our "new" vehicle home. Proud owners of an '06 LR3 HSE.

Thanks to all who share their experiences and advice. Found the forum very helpful and educational.

How about those Cubs! Definitely enjoying driving it and so far no working on it. But it has only been a week so keeping the tools handy!!

@ArmyRover - could have been worse places to land I suppose. Not a fan of summers in Houston so happy to trade for the winter here. Do miss the south though. Wife lived in Raliegh, NC...wouldn't mind that part of the world.
