Greetings from the valley of the sun
Hey everyone,
Recently purchased a 2002 Land Rover Discovery 2 SE w/ 175k. Wife has always loved the look of them and well you know the say. It's not in the best shape but knew what I was getting into and looking forward to learning more about how to get her back to her glory and putting in the wrench time. I've done a ton of reading in the past few weeks across the various forums and have become well acquainted with "Disco Mike" and "Spike". Have done some minor things but hitting a wall with my knowledge and where to go next to get her past emissions and in proper working condition.

- Replaced Thermostat with 180 degree
- Flushed and refilled the coolant
- Replaced Throttle body heater plate and various coolant hoses
- Changed the oil
- Gave her a good scrub and wash, inside and out

Welcome to the forum. I think you should post your question in the Disco 2 section of this forum as there seems to be a lot more traffic there. There are lots of knowledgeable and helpful people here for the D2. Good luck with yours. All of us here love ours.
