Default Hello from AL and ND

Want to thank everyone for what is an excellent resource thus far.

Recently purchased my first LR, a 2000 Disco II with some upgrades. The truck is currently in AL and I'll be driving it to ND next month. I've downloaded the RAVE and appreciate the easy resource.

Existing problems are the ignition switch (which I'm having a problem locating a replacement), drivers side mirror (NP) passenger and rear door locks (should be NP) and the battery consistently goes dead. Hoping the ignition switch is the source of the battery problem as I don't relish chasing shorts all through the truck. Winch and auxillary lights are disconnected so I don't believe they are the source of my woes.

If anyone cares to offer some ideas on areas to look into for PM or problem areas before driving to ND I would appreciate the help.

The truck has 120K miles engine has 45K. Guessing original owner warped the block and had to replace based on mileage. Just a guess though.

Thanks again,
Sean
