I just purchased my first Land Rover today, a 1998 Discovery. It has 120k miles on it and in great shape and still drives like a dream. I have always loved the look of the Discovery, so when I had the opportunity to purchase it I jumped on it.

I really look forward to doing some great off roading here in AZ, havent been out since I totaled mt jeep.

My only reserve was the complaints about the maintenance I have read, but I think that depends on the individual vehicle. My was owned by one guy, an older gentleman, who never took it off road and pampered it. So I hope to not have any major problems.
