Hello from Blacksburg!
Just picked up my '94 5MT Discovery two or three weeks ago and thought i'd join land rover forums as well. I've been on land rovers only for a while now but I think I like the feel of this better
The disco has been great so far no real big problems. Fixed the rear windows last week with the repair kit from British Atlantic, did an engine flush yesterday and will finish the oil change and replacing the oil gasket sometime tomorrow. Just bought some satin black paint and will probably paint the roof and hood tonight. Anyways here are some pics. Look forward to getting to know you guys.

Welcome! Post some pics after you get done painting, I know a lot of folks will be interested to see how it turns out.
What sort of "engine flush" did you do?
P.S. - I hope your buddy crawled out of the passenger side door.

So I got around to painting the hood of my 94 disco today and it looks pretty damn nice! I used 3 spraypaint cans of Satin Flat Black Krylon paint. I used blue painters tape to tape off the section and sanded the hood down with 340 grit sand paper to get rid of scrapes and any other imperfections. Getting the coat even was the hardest part of the entire process and there are certainly some spots on the hood that are different from the rest. For $20 it sure came out great though
