Hello All, I bought my first Disco about 4 months ago and just bought another last weekend. Both are '96 D1s, a white SE7 and a Black and White SD. The white one is nick named " The Exxon Valdez" ( full of oil and leaky). The PO said it had a bad head gasket. Trailered it home and drained 5 gallons (yes that's GALLONS) change plugs and wires and she runs great. No signs of HG damage. Lots of quirks but great body and a decent DD. Black one also has a great body and interior but the engine was over heated and taken out. The PO had a used motor on a stand ready to go but unable to finish the work. I bought each D1 for $600 each. I have used this forum for info and thought I better join, so here I am. Thanks to all of you.
