Hello heloo !!
Hi,As a new member, I recently upgraded from a 2016 Range Rover L405 to a 2023 Range Rover L406. It's an incredible vehicle with only 23,000 miles on the clock. So far, I've only added 150 miles, and everything is going well except for the disappointing adaptive cruise control. I've already had a few close calls, nearly being rear-ended and/or hitting a car at a red light. It waits until the last moment to slow down, hitting the brakes pretty hard even when I set the following distance to the maximum. I suppose I'll have to get used to it or simply avoid using it in the city or in heavy traffic. This must be a software issue that can easily be fixed with an upgrade. It's a real shame for LR. I'm familiar with ACC on other modern European cars, and even on my BMW motorcycle, and it works flawlessly, providing a safe and comfortable ride.
Another issue I've noticed is the warning lights in the side mirrors. They are completely useless. By the time they become worn, it is already too late. My Previous L405 was perfect. I have no idea what went wrong with this one. There is no way to trust those lights when changing lanes.
Anyway, Merry Christmas, everyone! 🎄
