Hi everyone!

I am coming to you guys for some advice. I am in a position in which I need to purchase a vehicle with 3 rows of seats and can tow. I am looking at the Disco II 03-04 and was wondering what insight you all would have for me. I am an auto technician so I will be maintaining this vehicle myself. I have not specifically worked on these and I know people claim they are unreliable nonsense about head gaskets and what not. NOT A SINGLE CAR CAN BE TRUSTED! That out of the way I like things Euro flavored so Disco II is what I want even over the LR3(3rd row in the DII is much better IMO).

What details should I keep an eye out for when road testing and looking over these vehicles when out and about?

What upgrades might be needed to tow? Better trans cooler? Just a small trailer for now nothing crazy.
