Default Hello.. Newbie with questions..

I've wanted a Land Rover Discovery or defender (but knowing my budget i'm aiming for a discovery) since I can remember. Every time I buy a vehicle I always back out of buying a land rover and kick myself in the *** afterwards. I'm hesitant because of all the horror stories i've heard of these vehicles reliability. But I love these vehicles, how they look inside and out, no other vehicle comes close. the off road ability, even the mods that are out there for this vehicle. I just bought an envoy denali which is nice but i've had it for four or five months and I want it out of my driveway and I want a discovery and i'm probably going to do it this time. But again, hesitation kicks in. So, I figured go right to the source for information ( people who own one )... So, all you guys/girls in the forum, i'm looking for pros and cons to owning a land rover discovery. I'm aiming for an older model. I love the body style.. anywhere from 1990 to the last of that body style.. I know the engine changed in the beginning years for that model but any opinions and thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Also curious about repair costs comparable to other vehicles. One more question, do all discoveries have air bag suspension? any discoveries not have airbag suspension. I'd like to stay away from airbag suspension... Thanks in advance..
